First off, thank you for inviting me to this interview with AffMaven.  I’m looking forward to sharing some insights into Sell The Trend and the dropshipping industry as a whole.   To answer you question:

My experience in the financial industry taught me the importance of reliability, scalability, and precision. When building mission-critical systems, there’s zero room for errors, and this mindset shaped the AI architecture of Sell The Trend. We adopted a data-driven approach, ensuring our algorithms can process vast amounts of data quickly and accurately. 


Sell The Trend uses a combination of proprietary AI models and publicly available data to assess trends across multiple platforms, including social media and e-commerce sites. Our algorithms analyze product performance, saturation levels, geographical popularity, and growth trends in real-time.

By evaluating over 26 data points, including order volume, social media engagement, and competition, the system predicts which products have the highest potential for success.

One of the primary challenges was integrating multiple supplier APIs and ensuring consistent data flow between platforms. Each supplier has unique protocols, and ensuring seamless synchronization required robust error-handling mechanisms. Another challenge was building a system flexible enough to generate high-converting store designs while keeping it simple for users.

To be frank, we overcome these hurdles by having an awesome technical team both on the development as well the quality assurance side.  Rigorous testing was then done to deliver a smooth user experience.

Launching a store then will only take an additional few minutes for the merchant to connect their preferred payment gateways.  From preloaded winning products to auto-generated product pages and built-in marketing tools, SellShop streamlines the process, saving time and reducing the need for technical expertise.

ASuccessful dropshippers share a consistent approach to their business. They are methodical in testing products and advertising strategies, always learning from the data they gather.

Additionally, they focus deeply on one niche at a time, refining their approach until they see measurable success before expanding further. Our platform is designed to support these behaviors by providing tools that make it easier to experiment, analyze, and scale effectively.


Our supplier ranking system evaluates shipping speed, reliability, and customer satisfaction. For fast shipping suppliers, the system prioritizes suppliers that ship from local warehouses. 

For example, for USA shipping, we will only show suppliers that will ship using USPS which insures that the products are located in the USA.

This ensures that store owners can meet customer expectations for prompt delivery.


AAI plays a central role by automating tasks like audience targeting and performance analysis. For example, our Facebook and TikTok Ad Explorers are perfect for seeing what’s going viral on those platforms.

This helps our users create tailored ads that resonate with that platform’s audience. 


The inspiration came from observing how fragmented and costly the dropshipping ecosystem was becoming. Entrepreneurs often had to juggle multiple tools for product research, store design, marketing, and order fulfillment, which not only complicated the process but significantly increased expenses. For someone just starting in dropshipping, these costs could be a major barrier to entry.

We wanted to change that by offering an all-in-one solution that streamlines every aspect of the process at a more accessible price. By integrating these functions into a single platform, we empower users to focus on building and scaling their business without being burdened by unnecessary complexity or high costs.


While I can’t share specifics about product roadmap, I can say that we’re focused on enhancing automation, expanding supplier integrations, and introducing more advanced product discovery tools. 

Also expect even more robust AI-driven solutions and enhancements that cater to emerging trends in e-commerce and customer expectations.

A. The biggest lesson I’ve carried over is the value of adaptability. Both industries are fast-paced, requiring quick decision-making and a customer-first mindset. I’ve also learned the importance of empowering teams with the right tools and fostering a culture of innovation.
